Thread: Gorilla Glue for canopies?
Hi Jon, I'm not sure that Gorilla glue is the best idea for fixing canopies as it foams on curing so will probably be messy. Far better to use a dedicated canopy glue.
I haven't flown ic for a good few years, but recall a similar problem solved by replacing a nylon engine mount for a metal one. Might be worth a try!
Thread: Galaxy Models, in administration
Thanks David for removing the earlier post advertising the eBay store on galaxy's doorstep. Most distasteful - mental note to self to avoid in future.
This really is a great shame. Galaxy and in particular its proprietor,Gary, have been hugely supportive throughout most of my aeromodeling life of 40 years or so. I hope that a way forward can be found for this pillar of the trade we all rely on for our pastime.
I'm sure that I speak for many thousands of past and present customers and friends in wishing Gary and all of the staff at galaxy all the very best for the future with heartfelt thanks for the professionalism given to aeromodeling worldwide.

Yes please !
Thread: Tony Nijhuis' new Vulcan
For what it's worth, I think I'd be tempted to adapt the design for twin pusher configuration anyway.
Thread: Ebay sellers...

Thread: Algebra 100 CoG?
Hi Simon, I've just checked on the plan of the Algebra 2.5m which is the same as the 100 (unless we're talking about the earlier ripmax Algebra 100) and the CG should be 140 -145mm from the wing root trailing edge with a warning from Mr EMP about having it any further back.
Thread: Wot 4 E mk2 vs standard wot 4
Thanks for all of your input chaps. I've just flown my new Wot4 and am mightily impressed!
I finally went for an Emax 2826 06 with a 12x8 apc e, 4s 4500 mah Loong Max lipo with a 60 amp Hobbywing esc.
Figures are 863 Watts at 54 amps, giving around 155 w/lb - Hovers quite well!
I'll try to upload some pics for anyone interested.
Right, that's it then! Full sized Wotty it is with a thumping great outrunner in the front! Lol
Seriously though chaps, many thanks for your comments.
I'd had in mind a 700+ watt motor with a 4 cell 4500 mah LiPo, sounds like it might be just about enough.
I'll post the results here.
Has anyone got experience of these two artf's flying side by side? I can't decide whether to go for a full-sized conversion or stick with the 90% sized E version.
Any comments would be most appreciated.
Thread: Priory models Lancaster
Does anyone know if the Priory Models electric Lancaster kit is still available?
Contact details would be great.
