I've just bought a PSS Hunter off the BMFA site and can't wait to get it in the air. It's all there including flight battery in the nose but no indication of where the C of G should be. When I "balance" it it seems way back, about 50% from the leading edge. I don't want to wreck it first time out so the question is. Does this c of g seem ok? if not where should I balance the mode,?. frown

Thread: Buying From USA
20/04/2020 12:37:24

Just been checking prices on E-bay in the USA. I have tried to find how to calculate import tax, VAT is easy. Also does anybody know if there would be a Post Office handling charge???. I'm starting to think why bother.

Thread: Measuring model weight
18/04/2020 14:40:35

A bit of side issue but relating to model weight but this time between I/C engine capacity and weight. Looking at the Enya range of 4 stroke engines they state that their 90 4C will fly a model weighing 3.5 - 6.5 Kg. But the consensus seems to be that something like a Wot 4XL, about 4.5 Kg, would need much more grunt than a 90 4 stroke even though the stated engine size is 90 - 120 2 or 4 stroke. Which is right ?dont know

Sure are fly-navy. Great service and prices even from the other side of the world. One thought though. Why are used Enya 4c engine so expensive?. I got a real steal judging by the current prices on E-Bay. I know they are asking prices but they are way out there. surprise
