Thread: Diesel anybody?
AM 10 in a KK Champ. Great fun, still have the engine which runs fine. New Champ kit waiting to get to the top of the pile.
Thread: Hawker Hunter
Thanks Andy for the link. Just done all the calculations and it's spot on with where the model balances. All I need now id for the wind to swing round to the NW then off we go.
I've just bought a PSS Hunter off the BMFA site and can't wait to get it in the air. It's all there including flight battery in the nose but no indication of where the C of G should be. When I "balance" it it seems way back, about 50% from the leading edge. I don't want to wreck it first time out so the question is. Does this c of g seem ok? if not where should I balance the mode,?.
Everything I need is either on back order of out of stock.

Thread: Buying From USA
Just been checking prices on E-bay in the USA. I have tried to find how to calculate import tax, VAT is easy. Also does anybody know if there would be a Post Office handling charge???. I'm starting to think why bother.
Thread: Measuring model weight
A bit of side issue but relating to model weight but this time between I/C engine capacity and weight. Looking at the Enya range of 4 stroke engines they state that their 90 4C will fly a model weighing 3.5 - 6.5 Kg. But the consensus seems to be that something like a Wot 4XL, about 4.5 Kg, would need much more grunt than a 90 4 stroke even though the stated engine size is 90 - 120 2 or 4 stroke. Which is right ?
Thread: Enya 120-4c Exhaust Replacement
Just bought a muffler direct from Enya. Great service and very reasonable price £21 inc postage but + £8 handling fee from Royal Mail ??.
Thread: Enya 45 and 15 bits needed
Contact Enya direct. I did a couple of weeks ago when I needed a muffler for my 90 4c. Great service and very reasonable prices, even when you have paid BT "handling charge"

Thread: Vibration absorbing engine mounting
I bought 2 pairs of these at the Blackbush Model show a couple of years back. £5 for the lot and they work perfectly
Thread: Wanted parts for Enya 90 and 60 FS engines
Sure are fly-navy. Great service and prices even from the other side of the world. One thought though. Why are used Enya 4c engine so expensive?. I got a real steal judging by the current prices on E-Bay. I know they are asking prices but they are way out there.
Just received a new exhaust total cost inc postage from Japan. £20.36. + VAT £4.12 + post office handling charge £8,00 ????? Not sure why the Post Office should get the £8.00 as it only cost £6.50 postage from Japan Air Mail
Thread: 2020 Events Cancelled
Any news on Wings and Wheels?.
Thread: An Isolation Mass Build?
