Hi M -- Just been in hanger and confirm I fly at 90mm CoG without any problem

If I fly in breezy conditionsit is possible to land like a Helicopter thingy

Hi M --- Ripmax advised some motor which was expensive so I searched around and found a similar rated motor at 400 watts Fusion Logic and went for a 50Amp plus ecs using 2700 lipos I have plenty 8 mins flights per battery  with power to spare no lead required

You wont go wrong with the 3 in one Oil down the carb and plug area just make sure you turn the engines over to check no Hydraulic Lock up

Thread: Change old switch harness
23/01/2013 14:33:29

Originally it was thought that fast charging batteries in the plane through the wiring harness was problamatic say over 1 amp or greater as a quick charge at the flying field.

Slow charge in the Hanger when back home was not a problem ??

Have you looked at Just Engines or other suppliers for the ASP Short Engine option ?? Use your own Carb & Silencer

Another tip is to pull  the thread over some bees wax or at worst a candle to enable a smooth run through the holes in the spars

I would suggest a basic start point of 350 watt motor prop to match motor and 50 amp speed control and 2700 3 s liipos and some Hitec hs82 metal gear servos along with your radio . If possible show your loaction and see if your local club has a flyer with one to look see and watch

Thread: Just Engines JEN range
02/01/2013 09:26:34

They are a good engine once set from new just two minor points to be aware of The bottom end jet more than likely will need a minor tweek to get decent smooth tickover, double check around the carb to engine area eg the pinch bolt for air leaks. I have fitted an o ring under the carb to eliminate this
