Thread: RAF's Finest Biplane? Hawker Fury MkI

Hi Chris.

I marked the cores over the plan, so I think that the diference must be there. Its only the thick of a rib so probably difficult to seein the pics. I`ll check when dry.

Thanks.

Hi there Friends.

Yesterday I re-read the plans and the scale documentation I have on the subject.

Noting a few subtle diferences betwen the MK I and the Spanish Fury that I have not seen ( the cowl is longer, deeper in the nose, different panel lines, exhaust position, lowres, ….

So I also begin the construction with the tail. I`m using Wood glue so until tomorrow it Will stay pinned in the board.

Ordered the forkends for both planes. Thinking on landing gear for the Spanish Fury……. Get fun begings.

P.S.: charging camera batts.

Hi Martin.

Usually the aluminum spinners (scale) don`t have the prop cutouts. You have to make your own cuts.

I`ve made a silicon mould and had made a few carbon spinners for the community…...

Cheers.

Thanks for the list Jose, What span and plan are you going for?

Well, I`m going with the Bryant plan that is 1/6 scale and 60" span.

At this moment I´m thinking of building Two models, one Mk 1 and another of the Spanish Fury as I`ve found some good infomation.

Will be interesting not to duplicate any tareas as the spinner. I can made a few carbon or fiberglass ( free of charge) and send to an address in UK and from there picked for the recipients.

Danny are you interested in pick an order of spinners?
