Thread: Eflite Inductrix Duration
10/12/2016 18:49:18
Its a common complaint. Long discussion over on rcgroups. I ended up disabling the lvc by soldering the board and now fly to a timer.
Thread: Using 6V rated servos with a 6V sub C NiMh
03/07/2016 17:58:00
When they say 4.8 to 6v i believe they are refering to either a 4.8 or 6v nicad you'll be fine with what you have

Thread: Moving Models
07/12/2015 17:38:57
Another option would be to build a wooden crate or two out of 25mm timer and 3mm mdf/hardboard to put the models in. They could then be strapped down and kept safe whilst in the moving van/ hire van.
Thread: Olive Drab covering.

Thread: A faceplate for a wee lathe

You could use 6mm grub screws. Model fixings do them upto 30mm long grubs
Thread: Help Please with Laptop
22/01/2015 20:44:42
Hi Robert,

If you're anywhere near kent I'll take a look at it for you if you like. At the very least I should be able to recover files from the drive.
Thread: Stainless steel engine bearings
27/10/2014 14:29:12

I've used both, stainless are better for corrosion resistance and hold up well in engine use. They do still wear out though due to pitting of the races etc from normal engine use.

Thread: Microsoft Office
07/10/2014 19:21:08
If you have the same version installed on another laptop and are sure you used the same code you can use a program to fi d the key used to install it. is one I have used in the past.
Thread: spektrum ar7000
08/08/2014 08:39:46

The wires on the ar7000 are just straight wire, I've also replaced one or two that dropped off, i now put a bit of heat shrink on them and attach it to the case with hot melt glue.

Thread: ar 9020
26/02/2014 14:05:11

the ar9020 has a common power bus as do all spektrum rx's. you can plug into any free channels and it will give power.

Thread: JR591 servo
19/02/2014 13:32:17

If it's only rated for 4.8v then yes putting 6v (7.2v fully charged) though it will kill it in a very short time.sad if it was a 6v regulated then it's just a coincidence.

Thread: Ellipse
29/01/2014 14:47:28

That's a fair point, but you don't have to swing that big a prop on 4s you're most likely to go for the 12" prop swinging a larger prop slower is more efficient wink The article does say the motor use is around 750kv smiley
