Has anyone seen any other news on this?
Plans to display a Mosquito in Britain in 2015.

That would be (as they tend to say a lot over there) awesome!
The visit of the Canadian Lancaster was a huge success, this would be a great follow-up to it. I haven't seen any other reference to the story though...

Hope so, an aeroplane I have never seen fly. If it does I must see it alongside the Vulcan in her final year, hopefully they will go to Duxford. A Mosquito is just a big model of course, same construction!

I saw the last airworthy Mosquito flying at the Farnborough airshow in the 1970's, and I can remember it flying over the woods at the back of my garden presumably when it flew at the Biggin Hill airshow. It would be great to see another fly.

I have video I shot of the "last" Mosquito at Farnborough in '92. I'm sure I saw it at other shows too in the 80's and 90's. I'm sure we'll see one over here eventually (if not this one) as 2 restorations have now been returned to the air in the past couple of years - hopefully more to come...

Must be talking about this one restored here in Victoria B.C. really stirs the blood when you hear and see it.
