Flown at the Great Orme North Wales in March 2015. Question: Where's the sound coming from?

Considering the original was powered by four Olympus engines, eerily quiet I would say!

To make a sound like that the air has to vibrate really fast. I assume it could be the area around the push rods or off the tips.

At any rate ....it's a great noise, well done! Bet you can't replicate it in your next soarer!

No air whistles honest. Tim had been saying that for age's when he's flown it this winter he and everyone else on the slope can here that noise.

Hi Mark, for me the Vulcan in flight is the most evocative sight for aviation people. Absolutely wonderful. Thanks for sharing with us. Cheers

Well thanks everyone for all your nice comments. Tim does enjoy his flying and he's done many hours on those sea cliff slopes at the Orme.
