Right I think it's time do decide on where we should hold the next event, We had great weather at the Orme and it has to be a big contender, But there are loads of site's out there. It need's to accomodate more than one wind direction, Be easy to get to by car or short walk ( Jetsome doesn't move so well these days), It will be held on a sunday, So it needs to be somewhere not very popular for walker's. I think if we come up with a few choices then do a vote, Then the same regarding the date of this event.

So all chip in and let's see what we can arrange.

Best R's

Seriously, I dont really mind. I would like to fly at a different venue, the orme is the only place I use for sloping, living so close, why not! Having said that, without wanting to sound too biased, it is a very good venue for several, already discussed previously reasons. I know I warned of the local flyers, walkers, and tourists etc on a Sunday, but if its a winter date then the last 2 should not be real problem, and I can always ask Andy postie to mention it to the local flyers - the more the merrier huh.

I vote for the Long Mynd, but Gt Orme would also work on a Sunday.

M6 should be quite free then.

Right folks its looking like it going to be the Orme ( another 2.5 hours drive both ways ), I am not well at the moment thought I would be better by now but NOT, So I think unfortunatly Jetsome is going to miss this one. I think if we put three options up for the dates and see which ones best. So lets say

1) 02/12/07

2) 09/12/07

3) 16/12/07

Let me know your option.

I cannot make 16/12 so the 2nd suits me, if the weather does not co-operate, then why not make it the 2nd and use the 9th as a back-up....I can bring some mince pies......( I do not fancy sloping on the M6!)
