without the fan & ESC..

![]() 1904 forum posts 1308 photos | Managed to pick up the kit version for £32 from Hobbyking, cut the tail to make a rudder and left out the fan/ESC. Took it out today to throw it off a hill. Needs a lot more ballast but was flying quite nicely. Just one question though. Is it better to close off the air intakes to divert the air around them or leave them open to let the air pass straight through? |

![]() 2808 forum posts 722 photos | Chris - you could always cling-film them over and try it with and without on a day's flying. For an aircraft that small, I'd blank them off, personally.
