My cruiser build has been going slowly with the fuselage built ready for covering, then disaster, when searching for some ply to make the sanding jig for the blades I lost my balance and managed to sit on the fuselage crying

Mowerman,

I bet its just a scratch! I witnessed a Cruiser have a mid air a couple of years ago, the covering was holding the now two piece fuselage together. He was going to bin it and build a new fuselage but I believe it repaired quite easily as I'm sure yours could.

Fixed worse, that's the beauty of wood.. real modelling rather than Chinese imported RFT..

It was my cruiser which suffered the mid air and was almost cut in half.. a few nights later and...image.jpeg

Well its taken me ages to get to finish my ic powered 1.2x Cruiser but its done

I wanted to keep the see through covering theme going that Rich started.....but the only colour left that hadnt been done was yellow......and boy is it yellow!!, so it had to be a Kenny Roberts Yamaha scheme.

Now if it would only dry up, warm up and stop blowing a gale............

What engine size is that? Does anyone trief one with a 4 stroke?

Daniel,

I think that the engine fitted in Rich's 1.2x Cruiser is an OS25fp so a 30 size 4 stroke should fit the bill for this enlargement. I have seen this model fly on many occasions and its a very well matched combination.
