Young Josh posing with a couple of my toys... he did fly his Mustang and enjoyed a tangle with my wildthing from which we both recovered very well I have to say...well done young sir !

And here comes Dad....back from another long walk eh Lee ??

Nah, its not that bad really lads, honest, besides just think how nice that hot shower is gonna be when you get home

Mike Evans from the Long Mynd collection....and a  fast mini Falcon, a wet Josh Morgan showing off his gum

Weather cleared up nicely for an hour or so during the day, we even caught sight of the Conwy mountains once ! Lee concentrates on his flying, and wonders if he will have another 2 mile walk after landing again He didnt as I recall, and made a nice job of it

Now, I wonder who that hardy soul is in the middle? - no hat, no gloves, no sense !!

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e10/eunos800/SL270508.jpg

I told you it was bit good...even my aerial was blown into an angle.

Eventually the cloud base got so low, it was time to call it a day. Despite the wet and cloud there were many breaks in both, the hardy few who braved it all had another fun time, good company, good laugh, all models went home in one piece, and we GOT OUT OF THE HOUSE !

Despite a good soaking, and lots of very low cloud, we all had a laugh as usual, all models went home in one piece ( well they were mostly all foamies ). Thanks and well done to all brave fools who showed up. Wind reached 50 mph at times, and nicely south west too ! CU soon.

Looks to me like the local mountain rescue team on their day off .Battling the elements armed with sticky buns from ASDA and tailess flying fish fitted with Lipos that usually end up in Whales or some other estuary/mouth that normal folks never go near in January. So much for holiday brochures  But !  I might revisit Anglesea one day if I want to get away from noisy engines that put holidaymakers off .Me - I hate seagulls (having lived in Cornwall ) but I must admit they never crash.  Lets hope they never get a taste for sticky buns or there wont be any safe flying sites even for non believers left even in the most remote regions of this godforsaken land .ps wished I'd been there  Only jealous of you lot living in the outback.

No it isn't. Both are acceptable, although spelled does have a leaning toward Americanism, but still perfectly acceptable. Your version of the word WELSH however is completely wrong, as is your often posted version of WALES.

The way you spell it would concern humpbacks and blowholes etc

PS Myron, I will score you a plus, if you can post your response in the same size font as mine above

Well spotted there Jet, must confess I didn't even notice, and simply copied and pasted the story which was sent to me - by a senior aircraft avionics engineer friend !! Blimey, can't wait to see him next month and give him a good ribbing !

You could of course be exactly right about the claimed "never ever had an accident" claim too - LOL
