Good morning,

RefHelp please, Skywalker II attachment dowel query posed in Sport, Aerobatic & 3D Kits)

May I please request, from the appropriate moderator, that my posting for information on the 29/09/2016 be corrected, due to considerable help from the kind readers and a bit of overspray removal, the airframe in question has been identified as a Spacewalker II, not a Skywalker II, very embarrassing. I have now posted some pictures in the hope that someone who has one of these beasties, can perhaps furnish me with the correct lengths, gauge and spec of the tubing that is normally included in the kit or better still, simply let me know who manufactures the kit, so that I may be able to approach them for the parts.

Many thanks for your help with this matter

Pat

Morning Pat.

I've changed the heading on that thread - anyone reading it through will see the dawning of enlightenmentsmile

I've changed the title order as having the model name in the main heading allows the search facility to pick it up.

If anyone ever needs to make an edit to a post, it is easiest to just click on the 'Report' button at the bottom of the post and explain what you need. That will be picked up by the next mod who looks into the admin area....thumbs up

Is it possible for me to transfer posts from one thread to another? I ask this because I have been posting on the `Concorde` thread but it seems to have gone a bit dead regarding replies so I would like to start a new one but do not wish to start again with text and photos.

There doesn't seem to be any reason why you're not getting responses to that thread other than perhaps readers are just lurking or, Heaven forbid, there isn't a lot of interest amongst readers.

A mod is needed to transfer posts, Martin, but can only do so after you have started a thread - we cannot start one in your name. It also depends on how many posts you were thinking of having transferred - it's a time-consuming process and we normally only do so if there is no alternative solution.

To be honest, I don't think starting a new thread would achieve anything better than the existing lack of response...face 11

Thanks for your reply Pete. Don`t want to put the mods to any trouble with this, just wondered how I could do it myself.

Maybe they are hibernating until you know what is out of the way.

There is a problem with marking of topics on this forum.

Once I have read any post in a topic the topic title stays greyed out as it there no more new posts even when there are new posts. Is this standard practice and if so what use is it like this and can it be corrected.

The greying-out merely indicates that it is a thread you've previously opened, Andy. I don't think the forum software would extend to such luxuries as detecting new posts in a thread.

If you wish to follow a thread, you have the option to get email notifications of additions by ticking the box below the reply field at the bottom of the page.

Hope this helps...thumbs up
