Well done Jack! What a magnificent piece of workmanship.

It's such a shame to have it stuck on a display stand though. Have you flown a plane with it or do you plan to?

Beautiful work! A friend of mine was at a model engineering show a few years ago to display one of his steam engines. One of the other exhibitors had a scale Merlin engine running and swinging a 36" prop, he said it was the most awsome thing he'd ever seen!

Yes i do believe that i saw this engine at woodvale a few years ago and i thought then what a wonderful piece of engineering mione on the other hand was full size but i did strip it and overhaul it to it's present state but mine was full size and shortlyi shall be posting photos of the engine in a state of dismantling and rebuilding if i can find them
