thinking of getting back into rc flying after numberof years and wondered iff any body has any experience of fms ez 1200 .seems that all these foam models have suspect electrics .thinking this might be easy road back into hobby as i dont fancy ic models this time round.

Hi

Whilst having no experience of that model, I have several artf foamies, never had any particular electrical issues with any. Systems are pretty good now. Enjoy your comeback.

There is a review of this model in the latest RCM&E. It looks like a decent option, but they comment it is somewhat underpowered in stock form. Assuming you flew models with ailerons during your last foray into modelling I would recommend the Max Thrust Riot, Wot 4 Foam-E, Parkzone Sport Cub or EFlite Apprentice - all fly well in stock form and have decent electrics, though of course there will be reports online of failures in all models (happy customers don't post as often as grumpy ones!).

thanks for recomendations used to have wot 4 with irvine40 in distant past but spent more time pss off cumbrian fells untill idecided half hour treck up fellside with no company was getting a bit trying so would like to get back into power but with electric power so might be tempted with wot 4 or acro wot
