A nice find. It looks very similar to the HET one, though I don't know why the bulkheads wouldn't be installed?

DH Comet here if you fancy a racer

A nice F100 "Hun" here, would look great skimming low over the Orme, popping stores into the bombing circle

I think EJF were Electric Jet factory, a US concern who made their models more as kits than ARTF like HET did.

Just think of the fun you could have sliding all the formers into place blind and then neatly applying a nice neat bead of hysol all around. You can't buy that!

True, no idea how to get my Rafale to fly yet though. C of G ended up 2 inches behind recommended spot, and still needed every bit of up I could get. Ugh, might make it someone else#s problem and flog it on here laugh

Is yours the HET model then Andy, or the Aeronaut one? You could always submit and shove two fans in.

Mine is a HET version, imported by Dirk Tink for me last year. I will persevere, as I'm not really into powered things that much.

Have you tried it in really good lift?

I thought it was pretty good on Sunday to be honest, more than enough (in my opinion) for a 2lb aircraft.

I was just thinking about the draggy intakes rather than the AUW. Seemed quite stable and predictable from what I saw but just didn't go.

If it was getting pushed back or flying slowly, I'd say yes intakes might get opened out. I can't see how that would affect the up-trim though.

Hi Andy, could it be an incidence issue with the canards?

I don't think so - these are set in the factory by virtue of stubs on the moulds setting their AoA and Dihedral.

I suspect wing incidence is wrong or the decalage. Check carefully The T/P incidence too

As mentioned, Canard and Wing AoA are set at the factory in the fibreglass mouldings produced therein, I am 100% sure the problem lies with neither.

The C of G was at mid-range when it last "flew", I am moving it back to the rearmost limit. After that, I'll try un-blanking the intakes, and go from there.

The below models will be going to Weston Park with me tomorrow for the Swap Meet (unless anyone wants to make a sensible offer on any of them!)
