Hi Guys

The other day I started searching for a particular type and size of outrunner to electrify my Zupair Zulu.

I then started to realise that I lacked the terminology to determine: various features that I was looking for.

E.G I want to mount the motor on the firewall, from inside the fuselage, so the shaft needs to protrude from the motor mount end. The shaft needs to protrude18 to 20mm. A 3mm to 4mm diameter shaft would be ideal

I'm looking for approximately 120 watts on 3S driving a 7x4 folding prop.

One motor that is aparently close to this is a D2225 1350Kv, but not readily available in UK. That's when I started my search but I couldn't put the data into any search engine.

Is there a way of doing this??? I suspect not, but I thought I would ask.

Note, I am not trying to calculate my electrical requirements, just the physical dimensions, and motor mount/ shaft orientation.

Go With the Flow
