I'm really interested in starting out RC plane flying. I'm looking for someone or clubs near Newtown powys Wales. Any help much appreciated. Thanks Gavin

Hi Gavin, I'm over the border near Clun. I'm afraid clubs are few and far between in this part of the world. I fly here, at Forton, west of Shrewsbury. We have members who live in Newtown and Beriew. I'll send you a PM with my contact details if you want to chat about how to proceed.

I see that this is an old thread but I am also from newtown and am looking for somewhere safe to fly, I have a BMFA membership and also have a Flyer and Operator ID from gov uk

Is Montford Bridge still the closest club?
