Yeah I think I'll be there with the kids too, not sure if its Sat or Sun yet, will watch the weather. Need to pick up a flight battery for my A-4... good excuse for some fresh air.

Hopefully the weather will be kind and good flying will be had by all. I'd better start making a shopping list.

I'm taking the family on the Saturday. Have sent off for advance tickets, knowing that the weather will be glorious!

Haven't been for a couple of years now. Does anyone know if they're still using the far side of the runway, or if they're going back to the original side?, as I'm quite limited in the distance I can walk.

As I understand it the show will again be on the Southern side of the runway this year. Last year there was a bus service to the museum running all day on the show days.

A fabulous show from the LMA boys today, and their RCM&E sponsors. The weather rejected the predictions of the forecasters, and apart from a couple of minor sprinkles of rain it was a dry day, with a warm breeze. The weather forecast must have deterred people, as it was easy to sit up against the barrier even though we didn't arrive until 10.30.

As Brian mentioned, the spectator line was on the far side of the runway, which was great for viewing as we weren't staring into the sun, which did appear several times.

Lots of trade stands (50, I think was mentioned), with plenty of tempting goodies. The SLEC stand had 10% off Deluxe Materials products, so I stocked up on essential sticky stuffs.

The trio of Vulcan, Victor and Lancaster was very impressive, as were the Breitling wing walkers and the jet powered gliders.

I always enjoy the TJD WW2 team, with some truly impressive models, and the legendary Dawn Patrol WW1 team was impeccably orchestrated.

Great show - go tomorrow if you can.

I've been going to Cosford for 20 years or so. Today was one of the best! Having helped behind the scenes I can say that it takes a lot of organisation and plans change at a fast pace.

Well done to all, another good one!

This year I've been to Long Marston, Weston Park and Wings and Wheels. Cosford and Weston out do the others, with no trade display flying in sight. Models built by modellers for modellers.
