I'll need an odd size spinner for my latest electric model so I'll have to make one, has anyone any ideas on construction methods?

What size diameter at the rear Cliff? And how long

Is it scale model, electric? What power?

All this affects the chosen material, and if this material can be spun up in a drill chuck

E.g balsa, wood, nylon, foam, plywood, aluminium, rubber

3D printed?

The model is electric scale of a 1937 Loose Racer, it'll only weigh about 2lb auw, the spinner is roughly 10cm dia x 3cm. Power wise quite low so balsa would probably suffice. I like the idea of 3d printed but haven't gone down that road yet.

Hi Cliff, I have printed a few from files from, they turn out really well, i have run a couple up on the Riot and they are really good, printed in black they look like carbon fibre.

Have a good day,

Chris C.
