Now Mike have you never seen a Marsh Harrier dive on its prey - Wings outstretched over the prey to help contain it as its conveyed down the beak. You need to look closer to see this precise action as its what most raptors do...

Why would the Radio Society of Great Britain have a site that would attract twitchers? RSPB, perhaps? devil

Ornithopters don't usually fly all that well in my limited experience but that one's pretty good until it spotted the rat then it's stoop looked a bit terminal. Has it got a glide capability?

Geoff

Well done Geoff - well spotted. Perhaps it was because I was looking at the Radcom mag that just came.

Cheers. G4WPB. (peter)

Hi again Geoff - to answer you question fully the "bird" has no glide capability however it is landed by reducing the power till touchdown and its very good on the throttle. It does fly very well and has excellent endurance and it also has a speaker inside which gives a loud monster type sound which is coupled with the eyes lighting up red...

Amazing package and a few of us got it from rapidrcmodels.com last year at our Flying Spectacular (2nd week in July - see events section). really is an eye catcher and gets rid of rats.

Regards Peter
