Hi All,

Whilst sitting enjoying a sly beer I noticed this in the sky. No noise at all just drifting but following the main road A4068. Sorry the photos are not the finest quality but it was approximately 1000ft +.

I managed to grab my camera and took a couple of photos with a 18-300 lens then again with a 150 -500 with 2x inbuilt converter.

There seems to be a green LED

On zooming in on the photos no rotor blades can be seem.

i'll see if i can enhance the photos a bit.

Any ideas,

Colin the balloon idea crossed my mind, but with an LED and camera difficult to see on the posted photos.

Looks like a bunch of these balloons, helium filled and tied together. They are made of shiny foil material so they can give of a reflection hence the led light.balloon.jpg

Reminds me of when a pal at work got exited on seeing what he thought was a UFO. When we got the binoculars out we could see it was Father Christmas, actually a large inflatable santa that had 'escaped' from ??

This was slowly drifting along the flight path about 12 miles from Heathrow
