Hi

Anyone know what the inlet and exhaust value clearance should be on a SC52 four stroke.  I've just fitted a new cylinder head.  I did measure them before iItook the old one off and I think its .010" on the inlet and .012" on the exhaust.  Not sure what that is in metric, but either will do if you have it.

Thanks

keith

VALVE CLEARANCE WHEN COLD 0.1MM / .004” / 4 THOU

Not too critical in all honesty, but these should be about right ( both valves )

they usually supply 2 feelers to the sizes quoted by timbo and you set tappets on the basis the thick one doesn't go thru but the thin one does - ie anywhere between the 2 sizes is OK  - set when cold
