How do you set up control throw. by eye or use a ruler or do you use some type of gauge

ailerons are particularly had to match as they go in opposite directions but split elevators need to be matched carefully for best performance

any tips will be most appreciated

There are 2 ways

If you fly proper precision aeroplanes like Stevo and Rich

Then use the gauge for accuracy

But for sports and hacks, use your eye

With Gary and Rich on this one. The little gauge works fine and is available on Fleabay.

Ruler usually but not always in line with the instructions as I like lots of aileron agility!😉

Mk1 eyeball for most things, but I do use a ruler to match up flap movement left to right.
