![]() 1895 forum posts 128 photos | Zagi Bash is back for 2017 and to be held at the Bwlch in S Wales on November 19th. This slope combat event was a great success last year and we hope to repeat that success this year. So get those EPP slope wings built and come along for another hilariously fun packed day. Steve |

Ade The Phoenix Models EPP Synergy? I used to have one of those. They fly very well but need a bit of a blow to make them aerobatic enough to avoid being clobbered. In a light wind you wouldn't stand a chance as the model isn't manouverable enough really. Also there is a lot more model to get damaged than on a wing. Chevron wings are cheap enough and I shall be building a Genesis SL from flyingwings, They're only £29.95 plus 2 x standard servos, 4.8v flat mimh pack and a 4ch RX. If you wanted to splash out, you couldn't really do any better than a SAS Wildthing 46". but they are £70, but great flyers. Steve

![]() 1895 forum posts 128 photos | My Genesis SL from www.flyingwings.co.uk is ready for a test flight and check that the balance is ok. I have made a modification and dispensed with the usual steel wire elevon control rods, which are vulnerable to damage during combat, and I have replaced them with snakes which have been buried into the foam, and then just exit about 2" from the TE to the control horn, which I have been able to reduce in size and therefore something else less prone to damage, hopefully. Zagi Bash 2017 is being held at the Bwlch, S Wales next Sunday 19th November. If you can't make it, there will be some video to show you just how much fun you're missing.
