Hey guys. I could use some help. I've an old OS max 40 Fp. it needs a whole new carb assembly. Can anyone point me to a replacement. I've searched the web but I'm real new to I.C. I've spent quite a bit already and don really want to splash out for a new engine.

Thanks in advance guys.

It looks like you need to ring Just Engines for a new or equivilant carb or someone may have a used one in the hanger

Give Just Engines a call, they should be able to help you if no-one has a suitable carb lying around.

beaten to it!

Try www.iccom.dkk

Ask Frank if he has one - he recently found me a 741 muffler for a very old OS 10

Whatever you do don't order a new OS item. The cost will be staggering! As already mentioned, Just Engines will have a suitable new substitute carb at a fraction of the new OS one........  It's just a guess, but I'd say a new OS carb will be £50+........

Shane, I have one that you can have for the cost of postage if you like - IM me if you're interested and we'll sort something out. It's on a knackered OS40FP engine that came with a second hand model The engine and carb were seized with castor deposits when I got it, but I cleaned it up and now it runs, and I have had a few flights on it. But the internals are badly worn and it's really BER, so I've just replaced it. I think the carb may be OK though, worth a go perhaps!

I got parts inc carb body from Wheelspin models .Contact them and ask what parts they have.Do you have any parts from the carb? A magnum carb will also fit as will other sizes of O.S. engines.
