Way back in 1993 I was all fired up to build a 1/4 scale Luton MInor. So I bought a set of plans fully original and detailed from , I think, the PFA .

These are plans to build the real thing and would be perfect for someone who wants to build a true scale large model.

The years have gone by and I realise that it's unlikely that I will ever get to build that life's ambition model. If anyone would like to make me an offer for the plans set, there's a lot of them, then please reply via the forum.

I was about 10 years old and nuts about aeroplanes and I saw a man flying a model Luton Minor in a park in Woodford (Oh, those were the days!), and I made a promise that... one day!!

Now its too late.. But I loved the lovely slow scale like flight of that model. Its the moment that I started my aeromodelling. 65 Years later I'm finally building another ambition.. A Mercury Tiger Moth, but this time fully electric.

Q: Which part of building a new traditional balsa aeroplane do you enjoy the most?

 Research & choosing the model
 Building the fuselage
Installing the engine and radio systems
 Building the flying surfaces
 All of it!
None of it. I'd rather someone else did it!
