A new challenge Pete but the weather this year so far with a few exceptions seems to be unsuitable for model flying. Next week June kicks in and so far I have not flown at Bartons Point this year, which is a shame as the grass looks ideal in your video but not the wind. My wife has booked another holiday in Devon in mid June just when some decent flying weather could occur !

Hi Mike. The weather at Bartons Point was well flyable every day over the bank holiday which was in contrast to the very faulty weather forecast only a week before saying that we were to expect strong winds. Like you I booked the time to do other things and regretted it as I suspect the field would be packed.... Always tomorrow.

It would have been ideal weather to have flown the VTOL again as well. Regards Peter

Q: Which part of building a new traditional balsa aeroplane do you enjoy the most?

 Research & choosing the model
 Building the fuselage
Installing the engine and radio systems
 Building the flying surfaces
 Covering/painting/finishing
 All of it!
None of it. I'd rather someone else did it!
