No it's a competition for doctors.

And I'm just back from flying, and as the club is doing a de weed the patch this afternoon, I was going to take a hoe with me, and do my bit.  Forgot the hoe. So it will be an early start,, early finish to get back for the match, all hot and sweaty, as we have 29° at the moment

I personally see Belgium taking the trophy but I still believe England can do it, we have the talent, we just need it all to come together on the day and a minor degree of luck. A good ref will be a huge bonus for us.

It's a good job you edited the France bit out otherwise there would be some sorting out to do fist

Apparently the population of Sweeden is 9.9M. We have 8.5M dogs in the UK. So, we have almost as many dogs as Sweeden has people!

The population of the UK is 65.5M, or approximately 6.6 times that of Sweeden.

Now if we assume that talent/ability at football is Normally distributed statistically in both populations and that opportunities to excel at football are similar, that means that there should be 6.6 times more world class players in the UK than Sweeden,

From this analysis I will make my prediction for the outcome,....

England will win 6.6 goals to nil.

This pundit stuff is easy when you how!

My mate has two tickets for the England vs Sweden game. He didn't realise that it's going to be on the same day as his wedding, so he can't go. If you're interested and want to go instead of him, it's at St. Andrew's Church in Cambridge and her name is Sarah.

Some of the dogs are German Shepherds, Irish Wolfhounds, Japanese Akitas, French Poodles, et al. I reckon there'll be 5 goals, I've just charged 5 lipos up for tomorrow. idea

BEB's statistics look great on paper... as graphs & stats mostly do... wink

To stay at the same kind of level, we are the proud owners of a total of just under 300 football clubs in our handkerchief country... while Brazil has a figure of over 4000 (four thousand !) of them... look for the 'error', eh... surprise

Of course, I'm wondering now if St Andrew's Sarah owns a dog and if so what 'brand' it is? Could be a Red Dragon as well, of course. angel

Anyhow, good luck to the Red Do... Lions.

Cheers

Chris

Crikey - we've only gone an' done it!

Just 2 more games to play now, 1 game at a time and it will be coming home.

Reality check. If you look at that match, it looks like a top six premiership club, doing a bottom six club. Routine.

Good on them.

Takes a good team to make a World Cup quarter finalist look like a bottom six club.
