I think i will be dropping out as i cannot understand the plan well enough to build correctly.

i shall watch all you others progress with your builds with envy.

Hey Tony. Be patien my friend.

Always learning something new at each stage. Only is your main material is depron you can change your optics using balsa.

Come on. Stay tunned.

given up struggling with the plan and am now winging it with the build.

lower wing started.

wing tips and sheer webbing and hundreds of cap strips and leading edge still to do.

plus i need to sand it to fit into the opening better.

still it is some progress.

one complete codkpit set 3D printed. smiley

Still working on the lower wing panels.

gave up trying to fully understand the plan and just "winged it".

adding the wingtip balsa now.

yes there is some Depron in the wing and there will be some more yet as well. cheeky

well it is half the weight of the balsa parts and as they say "every little helps"

Great you got back into the groove, Tony. yes

Superb cockpit bits as well; makes me a bit envious, I must say.

Cheers

Hi Tony,

Glad to see that you've got your mojo back, and what progress you have made.

Keep up the excellent work.

started sanding the leading adge and wing tips to shape.

then comes the fun job of adding the rigging brackets and all of the cap strips.

but that will be another day.

Looks great Tony, is the depron giving enough rigidity? Stupid question I guess as you wouldn't use it if it wasn't! crook

Cheers

Tony,

I would put the wingtip cap ribs on  before you get too carried away with the sanding. Would be interested to see whether you get a good fit - especially on the outer two ribs.

Coming along very quickly..
