Schumann 'Widmund' (Devotion) especially sung Elizabeth Schwarzkopf will bring me to tears. It's my absolute favourite piece of music. If I have a funeral that's what the few attendees will have to suffer - it's not very long

Then really anything from Schubbert's 'Die Schone Muellerin' (The Beautiful Millermaid) for the other 2

Boring aren't I? And I never mentioned Richard Strauss' '4 Last Songs' or any Mahler.

So much to choose from.

And if there was room to squeeze just one more in.. Andrea Bocelli - Canto Della Terra. I defy anyone's neck hairs not to stand on end listening to this...... incredible. It is alleged the Pope said if God could sing, this is how he'd sound.

I’ve got a favourites play list on YouTube ....it runs to about 180 tunes. There’s no way I could pick 3. face 11. It depends what mood I’m in but all the songs stir my soul.

The only music I ever hear is BBC Radio 2, which shows I have no taste at all. Though I always listen out for an Elvis or an ABBA

Another fine Rafferty track there from Broken Prop. Did you know BP, the royalties from Baker Street alone, still net Gerry's daughter Martha, about 70k a year?

And another of my favourite tracks for today would be Albatross - Fleetwood Mac........
