Some of the white tape used to hold servo wires on the underside of my wings is getting tatty and needs replacing.

Cant seem to find any WHITE that will stick to foamies ;like the original stuff.

Can someone point me in right directions ?

I tend to use offcuts - the edges - from my stash of the vinyl decal sets supplied with most foam models. Sheets of the stuff in all colours are available from the likes of Ebay for a couple of quid.

I must admit, I've resorted at times to shoving some superglue under the ends of the tape if I'm not 100% convinced of its sticking power...

Car accessory shops sell trim tape that seems to stick to anything. A wide range of widths and colours is available. Before applying tape wipe the surface with meths or some Isopropyl Alcohol. This ensures there are no greasy deposits to stop the tape adhering. Also apply some gentle heat as you press it on. A covering iron is ideal on low setting.

Have you tried surgical tape?

I have been using insulation tape from my local DIY store, they have it in white, black, red and green. I did wonder if it would stick, but it does!! in fact I have just had to take some back off whilst doing a repair on a foamy. It was reluctant to let go and it pulled the paint off.
