Just spent an excellent day flying in the LMA Show at Much Marcle. The gentle wind straight down the strip and the warm sunny weather was glorious.

What really made the day was the excellent stewards, organisation and the hard work of all the volunteers.....a sincere big “ thank you.” hugheartparty

Let’s have a good day of flying Sunday.

I will post pictures at some point when I get home.....

Hi Cymaz. Couldn't make it today so going tomorrow (Sunday) it's 1/2hr down the road so silly not to.

Mrs Cymaz just bought me my Christmas and birthday present. A new 30cc 2stroke gas engine with spare Pitts muffler for £90!

There are some seriously nice aircraft. Come and say “hi”. Orange and white Stampe.

Really enjoyed the show today some really nice flying in almost perfect conditions. I think the LMA shows take some beating in my opinion long may they continue.

Yup, very enjoyable day down there today with some mighty fine models. All the LMA and club volunteers were very friendly and organised a great event.

Promised myself not to buy another model but failed again.

The only thing I would change is to use my lunch break to sneak a visit to the Westons Cider shop/bar up the road.

On my calendar for next year.

I missed this last year...

The Weather is looking good for today as well. I'm going to take the offspring along for a couple of hours over lunchtime.

Glorious day it was indeed, difficult to pick highlights but the Lancaster formation was pretty stirring. My local club strip so only a short drive for me and I am stocked up with balsa for the winters building.

Congrats to all the LMA folks .

Tim

Well done to lma and all involved. Great show. Lots of good stuff going on at the flight line.

The Boys liked robbie skiptons pitts and the warthog and l39 jets.

I rather liked the prop guy graduate. Sadly a Bit big for my storage and transport facilities though

With the noise of those Airbus turbines singing I could easily think it was the real thing.

As a noobie to the hobby it was my first experience of an air show and I must say for me it was superb.

Well organised and good range of trade stands - did spend a bit of pocker money! - even the burgers were good.

The Lancaster flying was amazing and the Red arrows certainly showed the skills that can be attained. To see Dick Dastardly take off in about 3 feet was unbelievable. The silhouette of the Lysander was memorable.

Hey ho onwards and hopefully upwards till next year.

Thank you to all who made the day so good.

Trade presence was quite good I thought. In many respects it was a good thing I had the boys to watch over which certainly saved my wallet from certain death!
