Just brought a Saito FA 125a engine .They recommend using Saito Glow Plugs ,surprise ,surprise .They are not easy to get but I am sure the OS F Type glow plug would be OK .What glow plugs are other people using on there Saito FA 125.Must say this is the first Saito I have brought and I am well impressed .Still have to run it in but well happy with it

Just use an OS type F Rocker. You'll still be looking at Christmas for Saito plugs. They'll all go to the US........

My 72 appeared to run better on an OS F.

OS F works fine in Saito 125. Spend time to really tune the engine well, getting the low end right. You know when you've got it right, because the revs do not change when you remove the glowdriver, and transition smoothly right across the range from slow idle to flat out. Also the fuel consumption is remarkably good when the engine is optimally tuned. Then you don't really have to touch the settings much, ever again.

Do a Google search using Saito Info and you should find a good US based Saito reference site. It isn't in any way an official Saito site but it is written by someone who appears to know his stuff. Lots of hints, tips and other info on there. Well worth a look.......

I'm quite surprised nobody in the UK has done a similar thing for Lasers. Still, it probably isn't necessary with Jon Harper being so accessible....

Oh, and don't use anything less than 10% nitro fuel. If you do, then you won't see it at it's best. US modellers use 15 and 20% nitro in their Saitos I believe.....

Rocker I have a Saito 125 and it has run happily on an OS 4 stroke plug for years.

Another vote for the OS F plug. Mine runs happily on 5% though.

Used the Saito plugs to put a couple of tanks through my 82's, then swapped to OS F. Immediate and vast improvement, highly recommend the OS F.  12% nitro in mine run really well.
