Bit more work on the tailplane and fin.

Working on the rudder, the rib / positions on the plan and what was supplied in the CNC pack don't seem to match up. I will make some from 3mm balsa and adjust the positions.

Thanks Dan.

The build has been fairly straight forward so far (famous last words)!

Thanks Martian.

I have an Anet A8 printer and I use Fusion 360 for designing.

That's really good results from the Anet 8

Gluing the first wing half on this evening. I used a laser to make sure the spars all lined up - didn't want to build a swept wing Harvard!

I have swapped the retracts for metal trunnion ones - they feel a bit more solid than the others.

Looks good. Where did you get the oleos from?

Hi Charles.

The Oleos came from Hobbyking. These ones I think.

Thanks for that, Geoff. Are you using a smaller wheel? the plan says 3.25" and the oleo spec says max of 2.75".

This is the next model on my 'to do' list. Just finishing off a Veron tomtit and a Brian Taylor Cessna 120.

Charles.

I am using a 70mm wheel. I couldn't find any other Oleo's that would allow for a bigger wheel, and fit in the wing, without major modifications being required.

I think it should be fine - time will tell.
