I've just bought a Turnigy nano-tech 1500mAh LiFe 3S 9.9V Transmitter Pack for the X9D Tarans in the radio set up page what do I set the battery calibration value to and what value for the battery meter range.

Calibration should not need changing from when used with NiMHs, assuming it was calibrated then. If it wasn't but you want to calibrate it now then you need the use of an accurate DVM.
I set the meter range at 6 - 10.8v.
I have the "Batt Low" set at 9.3v, IMO this is the most important setting.

I am new to the Taranis but not to rc planes. from what i have been told and read. If you charge your battery to full, then measure the volts on a volt meter , then set your tx to that
