rbf3.jpgrbf2.jpgI have just finished my Rare Bear and hope to test fly this weekend weather allowing. This has been a very nice kit to build and should be a nice flying aircraft as well. It has the recommended electric retracts and has a Super Tigre 3250 to power it. I was going to go for the standard Bearcat but could not resist this version.rbf1.jpg

The Rare Bear has had 3 flights and is a great flying aircraft, very responsive yet steady in the air. The motor is running very well and no issues with cooling, even in the hot weather experienced so far. The retracts have held up so far but I think they are on the limit and will fail in the event of a hard landing. Stunning colours and very easy to see in flight. I want to try a few wood propellers as the Master Airscrew 22 x 8 is not the most effectiverb1.jpg prop rb2.jpgrb3.jpg
