I particularly liked the bit about adults desperate not to grow up.

Typical media rubbish . I sincerely hope that the BMFA post some response to this rubbish. Perhaps this so called reporter should try what we modellers do go down to a flying field on a cold frosty day or a sodden one .Whatever this is just as I would expect the lying media to respond My opinion only.

Didn't seem that different to quite a few views expressed in the thread on this site about the Gatwick incident. Mind, as you say he would be a gobby drinking partner

JUst a little more evidence as to why I have not bought a newspaper in over 40 years.

I agree with you Mr Miller I was told that many years ago by a shrink that the Media as a whole good news does sell Newspapers only bad.

Arrrrrr, but if you look at Newspapers, you will have found out that the scribbler, maskerading as a journalist in the Mail, Mrs Vine, married to the Secretary of State for Envirionment, Food and Rural Affairs, Backstabber Gove, reckons him to be a bit of a sex God.

Now did you not want to know that. Made my day.

I enjoy reading the papers, mostly for free online mind, is it good to only read those that agree with your take on things ?

Maybe someone should tell him that kids don't build balsa wood aeroplanes any more.

They go online and buy rtfs (made of foam).

Mind you, when did a journalist last get all their facts right ?

I thought he was having a go at certain elements of the multicopter community, who are also not the flavour of the month on this forum. Now I will be going back into the workshop, to do some more work on my toy plane, and then I will re read the scribble. But I thought the facts were OK, use of English, mediocre. Breathy and gobby style, no gravitas.

BTW, journalists seek to influence. I don't believe facts have ever been a priority. That's why God supplied brains, judgement, and with luck, a moral compass.

Anyway, the epoxy will be set in the morning. I have reread the article. including studying the photograph of the young lady modelling shapwear, very nice. Nothing further to add.

Isn't there another appropriate one about carrying a big stick?
