I took delivery of a hobbyking hummer this week. Its the xtreme version but it looks like it could just be the original rebadged with new colours.

Anyway, before I start the build I wanted to receive views on what adhesives people used on their one and if any worked better than others please?

Hi Andy, I used £ shop UHU to stick my original version together.

Fuz side strengtheners were contact glued, but spars were just pushed into the slots filled with glue and left to dry for a day.

None of the joints have come apart in hours of flying, including a few arrivals laugh

Out of interest, has anyone built one with a glue gun?

Just information Andy

Hot Glue is very quick to use, but lacks the penetration for some materials, and

Is probably the heaviest form of joining in our locker
