Turnigy blue are fine, I will be using some 2200 turnigy graphene that I got during a previous sale. On full chat the FMS fan pulls very close to or even above 40A so I would go for a 55/60 A controller, The suggested 40A is definitely underpowered

I've gone for a 40a controller already so I'll just have to hope it copes!!

ed2fb8d6-c091-460d-a82a-c9a913d82afd.jpegIt’s been a while, but I’ve finally finished my Phantom, just got to wait for the rain to stop now so I can see if she flies.

final weight with a 3S 2200 Graphene is 630g so hopefully power to weight shouldn’t be an issue like it was with the heavy gnat I built.

phantom05.jpgphantom04.jpgHi, did mine in Royal Navy colours just to be different. Used the FMS 11 blade 4s fan from 4-max as I had some 4s 2200 batteries. Weight (sans battery) 452gm. W/battery 684gm. Thrust (nose down on scales) with battery at 83% was approx. 600gm. Not flown yet.phantom03.jpg

Hope to see some photos of her in the air when you get chance
