If that is what you told them Rocker, I am not surprised that they were not much help. Good luck with your next supplier by the way!

Wait, do I get the order correct?

  • You've ordered.
  • Stuff hasn't arrived.
  • You've checked online, it says in stock. You contact customer services, they say out of stock, so no dispatch.
  • You say, can I have a refund?
  • They say, dangerous goods, can't have refund.

Yes nearly right it goes like this

Order lipo , show has in stock.

lipo never dispatched

after 5 days contacted HK to see why

told they can not dispatch them because they are dangerous goods ( yes I do not understand that either !! )

told HK to cancel order

they finally did but offer me a credit note

Contacted Pay Pal who have refunded my money

Then told by the UK warehouse they where out of stock

What on earth has a refund got to do with the goods being dangerous? They were offering them in the first instance weren't they?

There doesn't seem to be any logic there. A bit like saying you can't wash your car because the trains are running late. Not that it ultimately matters, as I've never been a Hobyking customer. And reading this isn't likely to change that......

Is the Hobbyking Ivory Tower starting to lean a bit?

I’m very careful what I buy from HK. Wooden Aerostar props, Carbon fibre UC and that’s about it.
