No trainner switch. I wonder if it has the socket still so it can be used on a Sim.

What a strange mod - no trainer switch function ??

I certainly can see /read no major advantage over the DX7 - latency etc are not going to be noticed by all but the absolute perfect competition flyer, and he/she will be buying something else anyway!

It make one think they had recurring problems so decided to remove it on the new version.

Does seem to limit the applications.

Maybe the new Tx won't buddy with an older one due to the faster frame rate, so they decided to leave the function off.

I wonder if this means the DX7 will drop in price?

Has to be the first T/X to appear for a long time with no Trainer function, seems like a major oversight to me and that's putting it politely !

Ma be they are thinking that the DX7 is for the more advanced flyer not the newbie, just lack of thought.

Presumably more important to have a trainer switch then as he/she may be teaching someone else.
