Hi, is it possible to change a mode 2 TX to mode 1, without sending it to the agent ,as stated in the instruction manual ?

The manual says how to change it electronically but not the sticks.

I have changed the mode on a number of TXs over the years but this may be a little different.

If you can't see a way to do it Kevan, I know a man who can. His name is Mike Ridley, and his website is modelradioworkshop.co.uk

Mike can change modes, add further channels, carry out transmitter mods for those whom may need all the flight controls on a single stick (disabled flyers) etc.....

Kevan, This clip shows how its done. **LINK**

This is the AT9 but the AT10 is the same way. The electronic bit is done in parameter section, looks easy.

In which case Gary, it's a straightforward job. It's easier still with my radio brand, as new sets come with both sticks spring centred. I simply turn a couple of screws in the case back to physically arrive at my chosen mode (1).......before repeating the process in the tx menu.

Thanks for the info, looks the same as most other sets.

I am thinking of one for my model boats as an upgrade.

E bay price is about £100 including post from the UK, model shop price, about £160 plus PP.

Find a bit of foam to work on to protect the tranny front. it's just asking to snap a switch lever off doing it on a hard bench surface.

Think of all the trouble and anguish that would have been avoided had Mode 2 had been strangled at birth.
