Excuse my ignorance, but what are stainless steel straws?

Our local Aldi had a large stack of traditional Deck Chairs the other day, I bet they have all gone by now.

If they are these drinking straws, or these they sound like the sort of thing that no serious model builder should be without. I suspect that 0.6mm is the wall thickness. It would be nice to know what the overall diameter is.

Might they have been withdrawn from sale following the death of a woman who tripped and fell and was killed when the stainless steel straw penetrated her eye socket and entered her brain? That was in the news only a couple of weeks ago.

I think you may be over-thinking it Gary....0.6x0.6x22cm makes them 6mm diameter.
