I am not sure what you want to do, 2.4GHz systems are not channelized, you just need to bind the receiver to the transmitter.

2.4GHz systems don't have "channels".

Is your problem actually that the bind process is failing?

Try it outdoors, with the TX about 10 or 20ft from the RX.

Have you fitted the Bind plug when trying to bind?  ( Bind plug for Spektrum is a Rx plug with a tiny streamer attached)

ARR so you want to use the rx with another plane ? Yes ? answer is yes . re bind the rx. Spectrum has model match. for safety. so you can not fly the wrong model. and the memory is in the tx not the rx.

I don't know Spektrum well but could there be any issues around transmitter compatibility - i.e. DSM2/DSMX modulation - or, given the lack of info re. the OP's experience, is the receiver actually a Spektrum (or compatible) one? For those used to 35MHz PPM interoperability the concept of dedicated receivers for proprietary systems may be new...

Please supply details of your "new" receiver.

Switch on transmitter, go to the memory you want to bind the receiver to. Enter the menus, go to system setup, and one of the options is bind. Scroll to the bind box, but don't press it yet.

put a bind plug in the receiver, and power it up. Make sure that it has no propellers attached if in an airframe. The receiver should be flashing rapidly.

If so walk away, minimum 2 meters, better 4 plus. Press the bind box. It will then bind or fail.if it fails try again, with the transmitter in a different place.

Power down receiver. Remove bind before you power it up again or it will go into bind mode again.
