O ring leaking.

I purchsed an MDS 18 r/c some years ago. I recently built a Mini Super for this and it flies well.
The motor is powerfuland nicely balanced. Problem is it does not run consistently .Yesterday I noticed after starting up, fuel flowing around the N/V O ring.
Question...Is this a general problem, and is it possible to obtain a replacement?

Look up a local bearing factor as they also supply "o" rings and take the old ring to them for measuring . Failing that it's just luck trying the classifieds etc. I have been looking for a piston for the MDS 148 for months now but no luck but things like "O" rings and bearings are generic parts so you should be in luck.

Got several of these.
point 1/ make sure the NV ratchet spring is not pushing too hard on the needle and displacing it sideways.
point 2/ try modelfixings for 'o' ring Modelfixings (and lots of other useful items)
point 3/ measure distance between needle knurled inner shoulder to outer face of NV body when needle is in running position. Cut, ends to be square, a slightly longer piece of fuel tubing and install in this gap to act as a secondary seal(needs to be slightly squashed).
