This plan was originally a Traplet plan MW2972 and the instructions were in the Traplet 'Plans and Construction Guide ' No9 where it says its for a1.20 fourstroke. Was it also published in RCModelWorld ? As with all the other Traplet plans it's now sold by Sarik.

The tiny bit of the plan shown in the article seems to show a built up wing.   The u/c came from Alpha Wing and distributed by Chris Foss designs at that time.  ( some years ago so it might have changed )

Note there is also a Sportstar 53 by John Whitehead which was a free plan with RCModelWorld September 2004  plan MW3099.  Span is only 52 inches.

Phil. if you don't have this Plans Guide then I might be able to scan a copy of the article for you.
