Go new era, the fx will be a lot for the little capiche, and battery might need to go in the tail. I suspect the new era will have lower wing loading

Some good suggestions there Nigel . The Gripen would make a simple leccy conversion - for someone with good eyesight and fast reactions!

Worth a look?

Thanks for the link to the Mini Capiche plan. Interested enough to order the plan which arrived today.
Thinking of this one as a winter build, but the plan lacks details of the construction.
I know you said you had the plan, but I wonder if you might also have the magazine article that goes with it.
If so, is there any way you could get it photocopied and sent to me, or alternatively scanned and e-mailed.
Hope you can help me

If you can find a 60-90 sized Dalotel plan, then scale it down to 70% (48". Ideal for a 25FX. I first tried 44" but it was too hot. Now on the 3rd incarnation of this which has lasted many years; it is one of those models which performs the same regardless of size. Mine is mostly from foam and comes out at 4lbs. Tried to get an interest in the plans but no takers.
See Dalotel on my albums.
