I have a couple of pdf plans that I wish to trace and laser cut. I noticed you mention at the beginning of this post that you use inkscape for this purpose.

Can I ask how do you import the pdf and trace it ?

Hi Adrian,

Inkscape will import/open pdf files.

I then create a new layer for each part and I use the bezier tool to trace it.

It is helpfull to reduce the opacity of the pdf to about 30%, this makes it easier to see where you are drawing lines.

There is a useful tutorial here.

Hope that helps.

Hi everyone. Just asking for your thoughts. Would it work to use the Ohmen wing on the Oodalally?

If I remember correctly, the Oodalally wing is quite a lot bigger than the Ohmen wing.

However if it fits why not?
