Just a quick question can i paint foam aircraft with Tamiya acrylic paints? I got a Graupner Eurofighter for Christmas and want to tart it up a little!!

|That's standard foam I believe Andy so yes they should be fine but as always - test on a bit of scrap material first|

I painted my Phase3 F16 with Tamiya acrylics. I used a rattle can of Tamiya acrylic primer, and laid the brown basecoat from another rattle can, then airbrushed the detail with Tamiya acrylics and Tamiya acrylic thinner.
Test on some scrap first though.

|Watch with tamiya acrylics as they can shrink over time if they're stored somewhere warm, thus warping the foam. Krylon shortcuts have been developed for depron models and work well on other foams too|
