Remember this 'RM' cover give-away 'Building Buddy' from a few years (and some!) ago?

I've found it useful to check the odd item at a show or just own stock whilst doing a build.

Wonder if it's economic for magazines to do such these days(?)

I wonder if one of the clever 3D printer experts could print something similar and then make the files available on Thingiverse or similar? It looks a useful tool.

Still got one, but nowadays a digital inch, mm micrometer does the job.

I think that would be fairly easy to create for 3d printing. It wouldn't have the painted parts though such as the numbers and letter, they'd still be raised but not as clear to read.

I had a mess about on Fusion 360 earlier and created this. It doesn't have rule marks to measure but has gauges for checking the size of things. Will print one off and see how it comes out.

The RM giveaway in the first post, I'm still using and I shall be using it again today, usually for getting things perpendicular, and extremely useful for cutting gussets.

I still have the RM thingy, and the Rib Tickler. Think the reason mentioned by Graham Ashby or a moderator here that there are no freebies as it causes trouble for over seas subscribers, and can't included them as a pack.
